For more than 25 years, Monica Chimes Floral & Xquisite Events has been creating weddings and celebrations throughout Westchester, New York City, and the surrounding Tri-State area.
What began with Monica’s love of flowers has grown into a full-service floral and event design studio built around thoughtful guidance, personal connection, and the belief that the best celebrations begin by understanding the people you are designing them for.

A Local Story, Grown Through Relationships.
Born and raised in Mount Vernon, New York, Monica Chimes always knew she wanted to build something of her own. Flowers came naturally. So did celebrations. She loved the way thoughtful design could completely change how a room felt—and how the details surrounding life’s biggest moments could become part of how people remembered them.
At 20, Monica took the leap from employee to business owner, purchasing the flower shop where she had worked and turning that instinct into a career. As she built her own life and raised her family in Harrison, the business grew alongside the community she served.
Over the years, Monica evolved from florist and entrepreneur into a trusted creative partner for weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, and families throughout Westchester and beyond. The company expanded beyond flowers into event styling, rentals, installations, and the finishing details that bring an entire celebration together.
But Monica’s approach has remained remarkably consistent: listen closely, offer ideas freely, and make the process feel personal.
Some of Monica’s longest client relationships began with a single event. A wedding becomes a sister’s wedding. A mother calls for a shower. A family returns for an anniversary. A past client recommends Monica to a friend, and a corporate contact calls when the next celebration reaches the calendar.
Those introductions, referrals, and returning clients have become an important part of the Monica Chimes story—and the reason every celebration, regardless of its size or scope, is approached with the same level of care.

Monica has spent decades learning how to listen, ask the right questions, and turn those first conversations into thoughtful design direction. She is equally comfortable refining a fully formed vision or beginning with a blank page.
Together, we consider what will make the greatest impact, what works best within the venue, where it is worth doing more, where something can be simplified, and what will make the entire room feel finished.
